Lance can stay on the monster and can pretty much block most attacks. bow and heavy bowgun with impact mantle do the job more effectively. during endgame once everyone is fairly well geared and have all mantles and boosters, hammer is nolonger the best KO status inflicter but it is still good. really simple to use but risky due to the fact that you have to hit the head of the monsters to take full advantage of it. The previous builds feature the Silver Sol Armor which is good for mid-game journey and some of the end game quests. be careful not to trip your teammates in multiplayer though, but if you only solo that shouldn't matter. MHW Dual Blades Meta Builds Pre & Post Fatalis DB Builds This is the updated version of Dual Blades Build for Monster Hunter World. once its up at max, helm splitter is once again available at max damage. after helm splitter, you gain a buff which regens the spirit bar so you can max it again with the spirit combo. the goal is to build up to max spirit and then use helm splitter for good damage. ![]() Longsword is a popular choice, it has good damage, good reach, decent mobility, pretty good attack speed, combos flow very smoothly, and a foresight slash for iframes. also really reliant on dash juice for the stamina reduction cost, be be prepared to meld them or farm them. since its a gunner's weapon, expect to be killed in 1 or 2 shots if you're not careful. with high mobility, good damage and can hit weak spots easily, it doesnt have a bad matchup once you are properly geared. Slot whatever you like as you go along and pick armor you feel is best to survive. once you are well farmed, it is one of the strongest weapons. There’s not much point going for a build right away, try to just get the highest damage weapon and the highest defence armor at first, it makes progressing easier through the story. ![]() early game when you lack gear and decos, it is pretty weak. but for weapons that are easy to use, bow, longsword, hammer, and lance comes to mind.īow requires a build for each element so be ready to be commited if you decide to pick it up. ![]()
